The Steubenville Nutcracker Village and Advent Market is a gift to the people of the Ohio Valley, born out of a partnership between Nelson's of Steubenville and the Old Fort Steuben Project, created to bring magic and hope to a city ready for its next great story. As a community art project, life-size nutcrackers have been created 100% in the wood shop of Nelson's of Steubenville. Each 6' nutcracker is uniquely hand painted and many have been customized to reflect some theme or aspect of Steubenville. The nutcrackers are designed to withstand the winter elements, as they will be on display outside in downtown Steubenville from November - January. 12 of our favorite images depicting the village are reproduced here.
